update: ceremony date:20/03/2015 from first lodge the online application to ceremony,it's less than 3 months

only 1 month from approval to ceremony?!

Date applied -18/12/2014 City/Council area -City of Stirling(Perth WA) Online / Paper- online Date received the acknowledgement email-24/12/2014 Date of the Citizenship Test-15/01/2015-Approved on 20/01/2015 Date of ceremony-waiting Type of ceremony (Urgent/Normal)-normal rang the city council last week and they told me there are a few spotts left in March's ceremony.mostlikey, it'll be April. they also suggetted me to call them once I received my approval letter. They might be able to do something to squeeze me in March. I should get my letter this week. I'll update it once I get an answer from them

Honestly, only felt excited for 10 seconds. Life still has to move on. Still has to turn up to work tomorrow, pay the bills and etc. I'm living in Melbourne at moment. My next biggest thing is moving to Perth after the new year. I've been living in Mel for more than 6 years and I don't know anything about Perth or WA. It's gonna be a massive challenge for me.:frown: Maybe you Perth folks can give me some advises. such as which suburb is better for living......

Finally got the PR today. see my timeline as below: lodged the RCB on 21/06/2013 -> RCB was approved on 01/08/2013 -> nomination and visa lodged on 06/08/2013 -> nomination was approved on 04/12/2013 -> e-medical done o/n 10/12/2013 -> visa approved on 18/12/2013

Hi Ramansanju, My MA told me it normally takes only a few days before granting the visa once the e-medical has done. My student's visa was granted a few days after the e-medical. Same as my 485 visa. You did the e-medical in May and still no news!?!

To Carine, no idea mate! MA did everything for me.My MA is in Perth,My employer is in Perth and My RCB is through WA. I'm assuming mine is through the Perth office. The nomination was approved on last Wednesday(04/12/13) and The CO asked for e-medical on the same day afternoon. I did my e-medical on this Tuesday(10/12/13). I'll keep you guys posted if anything happens.

My RCB was lodged at mid June this year and got approved at 3rd of August. It took about 6 weeks. FYI, Perth Office.

hi Carine I lodged mine on 06/08/13. nomination was approved yesterday(04/12/13). got a letter from CO on the same day asks for e medical. I m assuming they have started August's cases now:)
