Hi , We are looking to move to around Sydney at the end of June 2014 (Family of 4 , Girls 20 and 12 ) and looking for an area which is close enough on public transport to Sydney for job hunting but nice for families for short-term (2-3 months) rentals ?? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated and any websites or agents to find short-term accommodation whilst we establish ourselves would be great ! Cheers

Hi All, Anyone got any further info to any December 2013 Lodged 190 visa applications (all docs uploaded by 6/2/14 including medicals and PCC and info requested) regarding whether or not they are likely to be granted this Financial Year or from July 2014 onwards , my Migration Agent has heard nothing since the e-mail of mid March which others appear to be receiving who lodged and uploaded everything later than 6.2.14. Anyone aware of any 190 NSW grants still be made in this Financial Year ?

HI , We lodged on 5th Dec and uploaded PCC and medicals on 6/2/14 for 190 NSW visa , migration expert got same response re queue of 190's due to limits being reached , we are with team 34 Brisbane, hopefully we will all get granted in this year!

Hi Spincsuraj , We got assigned in Jan 2014 and have found the process to be efficient as some documentation and medicals and PCC checks were requested via our migration agent which were submitted within the set-timescales and also the C/O has responded to our agent's update requests , so overall I feel an efficient process. Sorry to hear you appear to be having problems , hope it all works out !!!!

HI, Lodged visa on 5/12/13 190 NSW via migration agent , uploaded medicals and PCC on 6/2/14 , CO come back yesterday to migration expert saying their is a delay in 190 processing due to quotas for this year been close , anyone else getting same message from case officer or has any more information pls ? Cheers Michael

Hi, My migration agent got a response from our CO Brisbane team 34 saying that the limits on 190 grants are close to their quota and that they cannot give timescales for completion now , has anyone else had similar , my 190 is NSW as a general accountant ? Cheers Michael

Uploaded final pieces of application via Migration agent on 6/2/14 , UK Police checks and Medicals and final dependent information requested sent. No contact from CO since info requested by them the 21/2/14 to Migration agent , anyone any ideal of timescales for further contact or visa Grant from this point ???? Cheers Michael

HI, I am emigrating to NSW in June 2014 under a 190 visa and looking for employment opportunities as a company accountant / finance manager/controller, or Management accountant. I am a full member of CPA (FCPA qualified) and MAHRI qualified as well and also am FCMA (UK CIMA) and have a detailed knowledge and qualifications in HR and have worked in business and industry for the last 20 years being a Finance Director of a UK SME business for the last 11 years,however have worked as a financial controller in larger businesses in the past. Does anyone know any good agencies or Major employers who I could forward my CV/ Resume too. Thanks Michael -

Lodged the above on 6th December 2013 ,anyone any idea of a timescale to get called for medicals and police checks , our migration expert has told us to wait till a case office is assigned ? :biggrin: ]

Hi , Does anyone know of any good employment agencies or employers in NSW for me to register with in early 2014 to look for work. I am a qualified CPA accountant (FCPA ) with over 20 years experience in both corporations and SME's businesses and am currently a Finance & HR Director of a SME business in the UK and also hold HR qualifications to masters level. I am looking to migrate to NSW in June 2014 with my family once our 190 nominated visa is sorted. Thanks Michael
