Hi Guys When you get an approval , do you get an intimation email from the immi online portal or it turns from Recieved to Approved and you can only see it when you log in to your application portal ? Is it also normal to get an approval letter in the normal post and still have received status in the online portal ? Cheers

Guys it seems like they have stopped processing any applications . There are not many recent test invites or approvals/ceremony seen in this and other forums. If the delays are because of general elections then when are the elections due ? I am from November 2017 , but I see may people still waiting from June, July August still waiting for test invites .

Hi Guys , I need some help with Form 1195 (Identity Declaration) The person who makes the identity declaration should be an Australian citizens and can only be from an occupation or profession specified in the form + it is mandatory for him that he has known tge person for one year. Now I don't know anyone who knows me for one year and is from one of these profession . What can ve dobe in this situation. I hope most of you guys would have gone through this. Is there any chance of getting any Australian citizen to sign it ? Please share your experience in this regards . Your help would be much appreciated. Regards .

I am going to be eligible next month on November 28th 2017. This amendment means only the applicants which have already applied are going to be eligible under the old rules . I though the amendment was to give relief to all the people who were already permanent residents on 20th of april. 3 more years wait is so painful.

I have a strange feeling that NX team will support the 4 years waiting perioed . I see very rare chace for the people who were already permanent residents at the time of Citizenship overhaul announcement to apply under the old rules . I'm reffering to the recommendation made by senators which was to exclude the people who were already permanent residents on or before April 2017. I am due to apply by the end of November but now seeing a very rare chances. Minister might review english tests but seems highly unlikely to future date the changes . ??

Is the bill gina be voted today or it will only be discussed? Because the bill hasn't been presented for final voting in the senate as of yet I guss .

Hi Guys It's been a while I haven't heard any news about this citizenship changes bill sitting in the parlimant . Is there any maximum time for a bill to stay in the parlimant and then water down by itself when the MPs dont reach to a decision? Is there any time given by the government when this bill will be finalising? I'll be due to apply my citizenship in November if the existing rules will still be in place or I will be waiting for another 3 years if this new bill passes through the parlimant . Any signs of this bill successfully passing through the parlimant as in its original shape or any signs of it thrown out of the parlimant by the opposition parties ? Cheers

Thanks mate ... I submitted all the possible required documents at the time of application even my MA was not willing to do it but i forced her to submit everything. So today they did not ask me any further documents. They simply approved my visa .

Hi Guys ... I got my visa approved this morning. My time line is updated in the sheets (smith) . I wish all of you a very good luck and hoping yous all to be permanent residents soon. Good news for june gys though cus i applied on 31 of may 2016 . That means they are already in june .

Hi It doesn't matter at this time . But don't worry it wont take too long anyway because the amount of applications logged during last few months are litterly nothing as compare to last year or the period before april and may . So hope for the best and good luck.

Dear all I'm having a little bit of trouble understading my payslip . Can someone tell me how much weekly pay should be on the pay slip while you're on 457 visa to make it $53900 minimum required for the 457 visa. Can it be different on some weeks to make it $53900 by the end of the financial year ? Because it should be 112.91 to make it $53900 per anum. Or if the some australian working in the same position being paid less then this then should a 457 worker be paid as much as he is being paid or ???

Hi Guys ... What does " assessment in progress means" ? Does it mean that the visa officer has already started working on your application or its only a staus by the computers checking if all the required documents are attached and rlthe file is ready to be allocated?

Hi buddy Thanks for your help . On DIBP website they say its valid for 12 months that's i though i should ask . Did they actually ask you for an overseas police check twice in twelve months or it is only a matter of being ready to get another check as there is a strong chance of them asking again .
