Hi Guys When you get an approval , do you get an intimation email from the immi online portal or it turns from Recieved to Approved and you can only see it when you log in to your application portal ? Is it also normal to get an approval letter in the normal post and still have received status in the online portal ? Cheers

Guys it seems like they have stopped processing any applications . There are not many recent test invites or approvals/ceremony seen in this and other forums. If the delays are because of general elections then when are the elections due ? I am from November 2017 , but I see may people still waiting from June, July August still waiting for test invites .

Hi Guys , I need some help with Form 1195 (Identity Declaration) The person who makes the identity declaration should be an Australian citizens and can only be from an occupation or profession specified in the form + it is mandatory for him that he has known tge person for one year. Now I don't know anyone who knows me for one year and is from one of these profession . What can ve dobe in this situation. I hope most of you guys would have gone through this. Is there any chance of getting any Australian citizen to sign it ? Please share your experience in this regards . Your help would be much appreciated. Regards .

I am going to be eligible next month on November 28th 2017. This amendment means only the applicants which have already applied are going to be eligible under the old rules . I though the amendment was to give relief to all the people who were already permanent residents on 20th of april. 3 more years wait is so painful.

I have a strange feeling that NX team will support the 4 years waiting perioed . I see very rare chace for the people who were already permanent residents at the time of Citizenship overhaul announcement to apply under the old rules . I'm reffering to the recommendation made by senators which was to exclude the people who were already permanent residents on or before April 2017. I am due to apply by the end of November but now seeing a very rare chances. Minister might review english tests but seems highly unlikely to future date the changes . ??
