    As other posts say you should be fine as long as it's before you date! If I'm wrong I apologise but I think the original poster is going to aus now as the five years are going to be up so therefore this will be their validation trip? Good luck by the way

    When you are allocated a case officer I think they have a two week timeframe to get in touch with you, we applied for 489 in Jan and waited 9 weeks so just have to be patient :wink:

    Lodged 489 on 15th January 2014! Patiently waiting and hoping July comes around fast!!!:wink:

    Most people on here are, don't worry just try and enjoy the time you have left at home! It will be done when the case officer decides to do it, remember how many they must have to grant and that there is a potential delay :biggrin:

    We had to use a solicitor all stamped and signed and business card attached our agent advised us to do this. If anybody lives in liverpool who is going through doing all this give me a pm and I'll send you details of the solicitor we used! Didn't charge us a penny xx

    I wouldn't think it would affect you in regards to your visa as the other post says just don't go too deep into it and good luck from us xx

    Well done!!! We had exactly the same problem so ended up going for 489 visa! Husband is a brickie too :biggrin:

    We have used visa go for ours they have been very attentive and professional and on our experience I would certainly recommend then!!:biggrin:

    Good thread! We will be moving out of our home and sending the movecube then going to live with my mum for our last 4 weeks in uk, so the more tips and tricks to make packing the cube easier are much appreciated as imagining it will be really stressful!!

    Hi! I don't really know as I thought the case officer was the one to eventually process a visa! I'm sure somebody else will answer this soon though!
