  5. I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone on this site who has helped us with the biggest move of our life. We started of very humbly with a daft ideas of oz being the land of dreams and what ifs, took the plunge and went to a 'down under' event after watching all the shows!! Well what a journey since then, every emotion possible and now we are finally here. without this site we would not have made it, the info has been invaluable, thank you so much, Jen and family x

  9. Hi all, movecube came today to check out access to road! Having a complete breakdown!, must have packed boxes at least 7 times, can anyone reassure me and give me a list of what they took with them. We are going in furnished rented, not taking any furniture with us as nothing we had was of any value. So far I have lots of photos of kids, wedding dress, books, etc, mainly sentimental things I could never replace, oh and my one luxury, my juicer machine!! What has everyone else packed? Thanks , jen
  10. We spoke to lots of people and all everyone said was stay away from 457 if you have kids, why not try your bets on a 190 or 189 visa if your husband has the skills? Good luck what ever you do.

Now we need to find a rental for the first month, we are not fussy, happy to go in one room, (2 adults, 2 kids age 8 & 10). psoriasis

Hi all, I have psoriasis on my legs, arms, scalp, torso and face. The Weather is really effective to my condition, however just wondering should bring over meds from UK, or are treatments in Oz easily available and low cost? How much can I bring from UK?? Also what is the general public approach to skin conditions in Oz? I have had very bad reactions in UK, most people think psoriasis is contagious. Thanks, Jen

    Help !!!

Hi lee lee. Our first step was to go to an immigration road show, I know a lot of people don't think much of them, but we met someone there who recommended this site. At the show you should be able to get a free assessment to see what points you or your partner may be able to achieve. Be mindful though, they look at things very optimistically. Because of my qualifications they presumed IELTS would be easy and I would gain top marks, I didn't!! Keep using this site, the knowledge is vast and people will really give as much advice as they can. We didn't use an agent, I don't know your situation but consider the cheaper option of doing it yourself if you can . Good luck, j
