in order not to be too nervous or over-excited, i have set my mind to a mid-april to april-end allocation... scheduling my medicals for about april 15th... i will begin to get nervous when @Sol2Oz gets allocated, he is 11 days ahead of me. lmao

nobody answered this question, its valid for me as well. i am not claiming points for work experience, i am using 2 years of recent study in Australia instead... will i need to provide work experience stuff as well? i certainly hope not!

State checks were easy 3 years ago. I got my state clearance in DC in a day, just went to the police headquaters, filled the forms, finger prints, and waited about 2-3 hrs, and got it... same day.

Speaking of PCCs, i just saw on http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/character-requirements/character-penal.pdf that you might also need one from your state Police for the last 12 months... did you arrange that already as well? i find that is usually easy, i got mine in DC on the same day, but this was like 3yrs ago.

I feel so giddy with excitement right now. Starting my day going through the thread and its nothing but good news... i am so psyched! Congrats to all those who have gotten allocated and to Mummy Mann with the grant... and like somebody mentioned earlier, the week isn't even over yet! i feel like dancing... lol @Sol2Oz, its about to be Us mehn!!! lmao, I'll drink to this new momentum that DIAC is gathering!

@breilly: unfair doesn't even begin to describe it. @SHandGH: Thanks... i hope you are right. there is so much info out there, some more credible than others, but they all have a way of twisting my insides when they predict doom. i need to learn not to let myself be thrown off by these randoms. And i do hope cat 4 processing starts before july 2012. i need to take a chill pill. Thanks Guys!!!

somebody? anybody? i am confused abt this whole flagged occupations list business. are you saying if the occupation is removed after you applied, you will still be affected? like if im not allocated by july and my occupation gets taken off... what then happens?

what is this about flagged occupations list? can u please upload the link to this list? and if one's occupation is taken off the list after the application has been put in, should one still be affected by that change? shouldnt it be from the point where the change happened on?

I agree with the fact that they are gonna fly through the following months once June is wrapped up. I really hope it works out that way. Congrats to all those who got their COs this week!

@SHandGH: Just getting a bit more into this thread, the positivity and the supportiveness of the members is just so amazing. i have to say, this is easily the BEST thread i ever subscribed to. Kudos to all members of this thread. Also, looking at the details on the first page, and that excel spreadsheet, @SHandGH is doing such hard and great work there, it is really informative and puts one's situation in perspective relative to other members.
