    we have been together almost 8 yrs and have 2 children 4 & 22months! im worried as his name isnt on our tenancy as he was working away at the time i signed for house and we dont have a joint account! we have all the evidance in the world proving our relationship but just not the ones im reading that they expect!

    hes going out to aus in oct on a WHV which is valid for 12 months. but how can we declare were still together with him being in another country? he may be there for longer than 6 months! we have arranged to get married Feb is this some sort of proof that we are actually a serious genuwine couple with children?.x

    we have been advised to go down the WHV rouite, altho my partner has 9 years experiance in plastering hes not NVQ quilified so points wise i dont think we would be eligable!.

    Im finding all sorts or posts about plastering in oz! Some saying its booming and other saying theres non! Ovsl we will no this once hes out there sept. Iv done my reasearch and emaild loads of builders/contractors with no responce! Finding it really frustraiting.lol. Also about the mining side we read that its hard but achiveable but u put ur mind to it! How easy can it be to gain sponsor with either? And were not currently married so would this make the paperwork more harder gaining evidance that we are actually a couple? X

    Hello, my partner is coming out to QLD sept on a WHV, hes staying with a family friend whos lives in the runaway bay region! hes currently a plasterer here in the UK, with 9 years experience! we no that plastering isnt done the same out in Oz but where do we start? would he have to become a labourer to learn the new skills?? whats the average wage?? were also lookin into the mining industry but with no experiance how difficult can this be? iv read lots of positives and negatives online but could do with some helpfull advice!! our main aim is to obtain sponsorship so that myself and our kiddies we have together can join him out in Oz. are we asking to much?? and how hard can this really be? .. T.I.A X

    seems rather tuff then! really stuck with what to do. what area are u off to work in ELLIOT35? he is a qualified plasterer too but it seems the same situation reguading jobs. x

    My partner is due to come out to QLD in late Sept, hes currently a self employed plasterer so has no experience in any mining at all! were aware he will have to do mining courses but how hard it is to gain a mining job with no experience but with relevant courses attented? our main aim is for us to gain employment sponsorship so myslef and children can join him at a later date.. are we asking to much? can anyone point us in the right direction??     HELP... well my partner is coming out to Oz this year to look for work within the plastering trade around gold coast & cairns! were hopeing he can get in with a good campany and hopefully get employment sponsorhip for us all to eventually move (myself and 2 kiddies) but does all this seem like the impossible?? is ther much plastering within this area?? are we asking of too much?? were so so desperate to make a new life. iv mailed sooo many plasteres asking the same questions hopeing they would be polite to answer but no reply :-( .. would really appreciate help.xx
