This is exactly the case with my girlfriends younger brother, but no one seems to want to accept it :-D he's apparently got ADHD but actually his mother just hasn't put any effort in with regards to parenting or discipline. Planning on getting out the march next yr, hopefully building trade will have picked up by then! I like some areas of WA but have friends in melb and contacts in brusque so I think it will come down to what, if anything I can get offered. Got nothing to lose leaving this s***hole! If it doesn't work out in oz ill probably look at relocating elsewhere in UK, we will see!

Hi Steve, just seen this post bud! I live near bottom of baildon road, so not very far from Shipley at all! Grew up in bd2 tho which is horrendous now! I like the samples avoid the city centre and do what I can in Shipley, baildon or yeadon. Its a nice base here for goin for a blast on the bike, but when do we get the weather for that! I'm still not settled on an area, gonna make some calls later this year and see if I can get any job offers and ill go from there. Although my good mate lives in Rockingham so probably look at WA...

Once he gets his ielts paperwork and if he does vetassess, can he not send a cv and covering letter to a load of roofing companies etc in oz, seeing if any of them would offer a trial period with a view to long term sponsorship? Prob a long shot but must be worth a try...

You're completely missing the point here, the point is that if u move to another country u are accepting their way of life, or at least u should, just the same as that if I moved to Pakistan and tried to build 300,000 Christian churches, and tried to claim a life off the state, and try made evereveryone speak English it simply wouldn't happen. The UK is just too soft! An its 11am the siren goes off. And it seems you have Indians an Muslims mixed up - I have many Indian friends,some are Christian some are Sikh. Muslims are from Pakistan, inidians funnily enough are from India. There's more difference than just a border...

I'm not even gettin involved this time! But I will say UK is f***ed!!!! Two pubs near me have recently closed and become sari shops, mosques popping up all over't shop and on Fridays there's even the Muslim prayer siren at 1100hrs. IT'S FINISHED!

Couldn't agree more, all these fancy diets, magic pills etc are no good! U have to get the base principles right first. Keep it simple! Ideally eat 4 or 5 small meals a day, drink plenty of water (500ml for every 15kg of bodyweight) and regular walks etc, 30-40min fast paced walk 3 or 4 times a week will be ample, and ENJOY IT! Treat yourself once a week to any one meal you want and a small dessert.

Hi Aaron, Not exactly the same but my friend has just been accepted for a temp business 457 with a criminal record (growing fancy green plants), it was only classed as minor and he didn't get any time etc and he didn't have any bother! I think convictions of concern are more along lines of fraud, money laundering, prob burglary in there etc. Where u planning on going?
