Did you find any further information? If you are still looking at moving over here, feel free to reach out and I may be able to help with networking etc. Emma

    Wrinkles

I am a cosmetic Nurse and I personally don't believe that any creams wil make a huge amount if difference to wrinkles. Injectable treatments (botox and fillers) usually make a big improvement and if done by an experienced practitioner should look natural and should just give you a fresher look as opposed to looking 'frozen'! Microneedling (dermaroller) can help by stimulating your cells to repair themselves and make your skin look smoother. The best cream you can use is a high SPF every single day but this will only help to prevent not improve. Other alternatives are retinol, or something like the Obagi range which is a combination of creams which is designed to thicken your skin and make it look younger. Hope this helps!
  8. We haven't heard back off anyone yet but still up for meeting on Sat. Do you have any suggestions of where to meet? We're still finding our feet! emma and Clint
  9. I am now registered with AHPRA. It was a while ago now but I remember it being quite lengthy and needing to do a IElLTs English test to prove I can speak English! You will need to get a lot of documents certified, get the university to send across your transcript and the NMC need to send something direct to AhPRA too to say that you are registered with them. you don't need to let them know when you leave but you do need to keep up your registration while you're away (pay your yearly fee) otherwise you may need to re-register in UK (which apparantly can be more difficult than registering with AHPRA). hope this helps, let me know if you need any more info Emma x

  12. Hey everyone My husband and I are moving to Sydney on Monday! We're currently in Thailand on our honeymoon so flying direct from Bangkok to Sydney. Have booked 4 weeks temp accomodation in Surry Hills but thinking Manly would be a nice area to live. We plan to spend next week exploring different areas and looking at apartments to see what we like- city or beach. We'd both be interested in meeting new people ASAP so get in touch if you fancy meeting up in next week or so Emma and Clint
  13. Hi all I have a 12 month working holiday Visa and planning to go to Aus next Jan. I would like to move there permenantly however so was thinking of applying for a skilled migration workers visa (175) before I go. Does anyone know if I can apply for this and then travel to Oz on my existing working holiday one? I know it needs to be granted off shore so would I just leave Aus for it to be granted and then re-enter on the permenant visa?? (obviously I would abide by conditions of the working holiday visa whilst waiting for the other one to come through) I would be grateful for any advice and dont want any problems at customs!!:embarrassed: Thanks Emma
