    Liverpool family

any liverpool families awaiting visa who are off to perth, we have 4 children and would love to chat and swap moans on our visa wait :arghh:
  2. Why oh WHY did I have to think of The Osmonds? I'm so sharp! Now all I want to do is to rip all my clothes off and run through Sydney singing my song. The only bit that would get me arrested is the song too!
  3. Hi there, I have moved to Liverpool U.K. from Melbourne and would love to make some new friends  I really miss all my mates that I grew up with and went to uni with etc. Its proving tricky to meet new people to socialize with as most people I meet at work are married with kids etc. I love going out clubbing, shopping, parties  all the normal stuff that a 21 year old girl enjoys. It would be awesome to meet some people who might be in the same boat or others looking to increase their circle of friends !! Hope to hear from some fun loving easy going people soon. Claire :jiggy: xx
  4. Hey everyone, I'm Carly 24 and from Liverpool. I have been working as Au Pair in Manly (Sydney suburbs) for 4 weeks, and am looking to make a group of friends to have nights out with, beach days, and generally live the Aussie life lol! Ther nature of the job makes it hard to socialise so thought that online would be the next best thing

  7. the January window is soon to be upon us and Liverpool have been busy watching dvd`s of future stars ..........Jardinia Gnomez is highly rated by the Liverpool scouts and looks like the ideal replacement for the sorry Carroll who has dissapointed many at Anfield.........
  8. Just bought some Liverpool ** advent calendars. Bleeding typical, all the windows are boarded up and someones nicked all the bloody chocolate......:frown:
  9. All I can say is "where the hell are his parents":realmad: Cradling a sawn-off shotgun, he stands with the confident ease of a veteran gangster. But the gunman is just 13 years old, and was involved in a ten-day crime spree that brought terror to a city. Jobe Kilbride was the youngest of a gang of five teenagers who robbed shopkeepers and taxi drivers in Liverpool at gunpoint. One victim was shot in the neck while others, all chosen at random, had a loaded shotgun pointed in their faces. The brazen photograph was discovered on Kilbride’s mobile phone. 10. Hi there, we are planning to move to Sydney June 2012 and we are offering our 3 bed semi detached house in exchange for something similar in Sydney. Got a feeling this is one heck of a long shot but quite optimistic so fingers crossed. Here's to hoping anyhow!!!!
  11. Well we're finally here in Sunny Darwin. :jiggy: After packing up two houses, selling our house in liverpool (or trying to) and shipping all our worldly goods including the car to Darwin i can safely say i'm done with moving! I'm originally from Liverpool and Married to a fellow Scouser. We have two Children - Ethan aged 7 and Chloe aged 4. Over the past 12 Years we have lived in various African Countries due to my husbands job, most recently Tanzania in East Africa where we spent the last 5 years which we thouroughly loved........... well apart from the daily 12 hour power cuts, water shortages and fuel shortages. Ha ha! We finally arrived in Darwin about 10 days ago and so far things are looking good although i'm sure there will be ups and downs. I have managed to work my way around town and elsewhere in a hire car and it seems relatively easy to find places as it's well sign posted (unlike Tanzania with bad roads and roads with no names) The kids are enjoying all the lovely parks which are so clean and tidy and generally well looked after. The kids will be starting school in the next week or two which will give us the opportunity to meet new people as we've not really met anybody yet although we've not been here long. So if there are any people out there living in Darwin or are new to Darwin who have kids let me know as i'd love to find out more about darwin life and meet new people..... plus the kids are driving me mad. Ha Ha! Love em really! :chatterbox: The weather here is gorgeous and very similar to Tanzania as they too have a dry season and wet season which gets particularly hot and humid towards the end of the year with lots of tropical storms etc so hopefully it shouldn't be too much of a shock to us but you never know. I had a look at the poms in oz website on numerous occasions while we were waiting for visa's etc and read some interesteing and funny threads keeping me motivated through the what seemed like a long wait. Now we are here i've finally got my backside into gear to join. Woohoo! Anyway looking forward to starting our new adventure down under and enjoying life and meeting some Poms in Oz people:yes: shell
  12. If you are a Spurs fan that is, or even maybe an Everton fan for one night only! I expect most Spurs fans know this already, but if you don't, this is where Spurs fans go! Some to watch the game, some to drink and watch the game, some to drink, sing & watch the game. and all for a good time, even if we lose!

Over the past 12 Years we have lived in various African Countries due to my husbands job, most recently Tanzania in East Africa where we spent the last 5 years which we thouroughly loved........... well apart from the daily 12 hour power cuts, water shortages and fuel shortages. Ha ha! In November last year, we decided that whilst we loved Africa, we didn't want to spend another 10 years in a developing country while the children were at an age were education was not the best, and my husbands job would only ever offer African countries. We therefore decided to explore other options such as Canada and Australia and thankfully a job offer came up in Darwin which we obviously decided to go for. We then had to pack up our rented house in Tanzania and have it shipped to the UK where we could consolidate all our goods as we would then have to pack up our house in Liverpool and send altogether to Darwin (which we are hoping to receive soon) We then said goodbye to some good friends who were also moving on to new pastures around the world and took the kids out of their school and finally left for the UK before Easter. Once we arrived back in Liverpool we then had our house to sell and pack up. We knew that we wouldn't be going out to Darwin till End July so i decided to put the kids into a local school which they settled into really quickly and seemed to love. My husband then travelled to Australia for 12 weeks to start his job as well as sort a house for us etc. while i sorted things back in Liverpool. He then returned for a week to pick us all up and finally get out to Australia. We finally said our goodbye's to family and friends who were so supportive through this whole process but sad to see us go again. We finally arrived in Darwin about 10 days ago and so far things are looking good although i'm sure there will be ups and downs. Liverpool One?

Heres the story, I am going to abandon being 40, a wife and a mother of three next weekend. Never been to Liverpool (well once in my youth and can't really remember anything!!!), staying with an old school pal (boarding school), which I have not seen for over 20 years. All we do is laugh on the phone and talk Auz, husbands, kids etc. We have decided to have a chilled night, fodder, wine and watch the world go by and most definitely be childish. My question is - Am I a bad wife and mother? :biglaugh:
  19. Hi Everybody, My friend suggested me to look for places in Liverpool, NSW as the rentals are comparatively lower than Westmead, Harris Park and Epping. As I couldn't find much info regarding Liverpool on Google...I hope somebody would be able to help me.. I would be moving with my husband...and I don't want to compromise on safety, proximity to rail, bus stations, grocery shops and markets. Please help.. Thanks in advance, Erin.

  22. Hi, I am trying hard to find somewhere commutable by car to liverpool and train to CBD. Been thru the various places, earlwood, kingsgrove, and padstow, revesby. The St georges road traffic puts me off places like hurstville. Rental cost is not the issue, the issue is * good primary schools * good trasnport * time of travel to liverpool at peak hours * low crime, safe place Concerns * childcare is impossible to find for a 3 year old * traffic on the M5, I think maybe it is only one direction at a time, but frankly..I would really need someone who does the commute to tell me what its like. Open to suggestions.
