  1. Hi Murta, I think they should be fine, if not I am sure your CO will tell you. I uploaded all the docs required and when I go a CO, he said they had not attached, so I sent them to his email instead and that seemed to work. As long as you email to let your CO know you will not be able to provide the docs within the 28 days and the reason for this etc I am sure that should be fine. Most CO's seem to be helpful so I would drop them a line. Good Luck!
  2. Sorry to hear your sad news but totally understand how you feel. If you do not have pets folk do not understand! Best Wishes for the future.
  3. Hi, I am hoping to get my 175 visa within next month or so and before I go across to validate it next year my passport will need renewed. I asked me CO about this and he advised on the visa grant letter that is issued, there is instructions for this very thing. As far as I know, all that you need to do, is upload a colour scanned copy of your new passport and they link the 175 visa to your new passport. Good Luck!
  4. Hey Melanie79, Meeting up in Brisbane would be a great idea - looking to get out there by next October. PCC sent away yesterday, medicals next Thursday so hoping to get the visa granted by october - scary! My CO is in team 2 and is said it under his name on emails he sent me.
  5. Good Luck! Still in Scotland until next October but hope all goes well with your move! It will be worth it when your Mrs joins you and you are having a BBQ in the sun!
  6. Great post! Was at Brisbane and SC in April and loved it. Hoping to go there next year. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Went there in April and it was lovely. Good Luck!
  8. Great - thanks very much - very useful!
  9. Hi, Docs can be uploaded online and if in colour they do not need to be certified but if they are black and white they do. Before I knew this (and to be on the safe side) I had all important docs (eg passport etc) certified just in case. Good Luck!
  10. Hey All, Got CO allocated today!! Very happy!!! Medicals booked for 13th September in Edinburgh and Police checks to be sent away later today. I lodged on 20th June so only took 9 weeks and 3 days for me to get a CO allocated. Crazy how fast this has went given that I was told originally it would take 12 months before a CO was allocated! Only issue was I have been asked to upload all the documents I have already uploaded eg passports, birth certificates etc. Abit confused about this as I was under the impression they should have received all the documents already, as I uploaded them on 20th June when I submitted the application. Anyone else had this issue? I was thinking of just uploading them all again and sending my CO an email. Any thoughts? Good Luck to all those still waiting.

Hi, Sorry never been there but Qld in general I have found lovely. I am sure someone on here will be able to help you. You could also go onto the life in queensland forum and they could also help hopefully. Good Luck!

  16. Hi, Good luck for IELTS - as long as you study I am sure you will be fine. When you book your test there is a link to buy study books on the webpage - cost £10 each and are well worth it.
  17. So sorry to hear about your experiences - maybe worth speaking to a registered agent and seeing if they can help you. Take care and best wishes to you and your family.
