Bob at PetAir can help you with the practical side of things. Lula recently took her bulldog over to Perth - about 3 months ago now I think. I have not seen her on here for a while, but if you PM her, she may be able to offer assistance as she has the same breed.

<p><p>Oh Wow, you have not got long at all. I know how you feel about leaving your pooches behind, I think that will be the worst thing for me, but I think it is best for them until we get settled. We still have to sell our house, we cannot leave with selling it as we need the money too. We would love to be there next year at some stage. I would go tmoz if we could, but we have to be sensible about it. </p></p>

<p><p>Ha Ha, bless you Gill. I love them sooo much but they know how to play me. My fault because I spoil them something silly and that's before my Mum comes over. She misses them so calls them up for a chat on the telephone - yep we are Mad as a Box of Frogs!!!! Cannot wait to see the pic of the lizard, another thing for me to worry about over there. I have felt all goosey all week with the spider pics everywhere. OH couldn't stop laughing at them. He will be laughing on the other side of his face when he is a room with them all, you won't see me Dust.</p></p>

<p><p>The news is that there is no news!!!! I have the patience of a Gnat, but this is getting ridiculous!!! I think we are gonna chase up this week to see where we are with the RTO. Just hoping we don't have to submit more paperwork (not sure if we've got anything left) and can move onto the interview. xxxx</p></p>

Perhaps the vet has never had to get an animal "ready" for travel to Australia before. We were lucky we called our vet first and he said he has had experience of transporting dogs to Oz so was quite helpful. Below is a list of costs that I received from a quote. DHPPi vaccination £40.00 KC vaccination £38.00 Rabies vaccination £50.00 Rabies serology (blood) test (RNATT) £85.00 Blood tests + initial insecticidal treatment £175.00 Export health certificate £50.00 Worming & 2nd Insecticidal treatment £32.00 I am sure if you were to ask Bob at PetAir, he would break down the costs for you. -

<p><p>Hi Gill, My God you don't hang about. Glad you are going though, how very exciting!!!!! Why is Coco's move so bad. I am dreading the dogs move more than anything. Are you leaving her with MIL until she has finished her 2 months. How are you feeling about everything? Are you nervous or excited, or a bit of both. I have butterflies in my tum thinking of you going next week. Lorraine xx</p></p>
