  1. Hi Silly666, here is my timeline (Although it varies case by case), but I hope its helpful for you: Application Lodged Online: 16/2/13 Test booked: 21/2 Test date: 2/3 Application approved: 2/3 (Check application status online, still awaiting letter from DIAC) Ceremony: Waiting.
  2. Thanks for your updated info ColCFC. I have a concern about the evidence of my current residential address, I lived with my friend, so I don't have electricity, gas or water bill under my name, I wonder if I can use my bank statement, or I should ask my friend write a letter saying that I have lived there for a certain time. Any advices are appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Wow, that was so quick, I hope mine will be as smooth as yours, I'll be eligible next month. Someone say they have received the ceremony letter from DIAC, some others say from local council, I don't know which one is correct.
  4. Have you got the confirmation from DIAC that you are eligible for citizenship ?
  5. Hi guys, I'm going to apply next month, I have a question about the documents, do you need to send all the copy of departure dates and arrival dates that they are stamped on your passport ? thanks. @ali: How long have you been awaited for the confirmation and decided to ring them since you had applied online ?
  6. I'm wondering that If you been travelled outside Aus as the PR, Do I have to send the copy of departure date and arrival date on the passport ?
  7. Well, I'm going to be eligible to apply for citizenship in mid Feb 2013 (As residence calculator indicates). What happens if I were absent from Australia more than 90 days (for example: 150 days) in 12 months immediately prior lodgement of citizenship application ? Do I have wait extra 60 days to be eligible to apply ? Thanks.
  8. I heard from someone that you can ask the council for the private ceremony, so it will be quicker than waiting for official date. I'm not sure it is correct info or not.
  9. Hi everyone, I am going to apply for citizenship in Dec this year, I did travel outside Australia while I was waiting for my PR granted, but I applied and got Bridging Visa B and returned in time. I wonder that I would get Bridging Visa A automatically when I get back to Aus or I had to apply for it. Thanks.
  10. I have the same problem, I think their website is maintaining so it is unable to check the status.
  11. I'm sure you can get it in a day if you have a reasonable reason for traveling.
