Today's <em>cultural activities </em>have included sticking my new reggo sticker in the car and making a mushroom pasta for dinner :err: At the moment I am listening to a mixture of Bowie, Floyd, Depeche Mode and Otis Redding and reflecting on your last post re friends. Friends can turn up in the weirdest of places, including forums!... I am friends with people who vary wildly in the way they are, but all of them are important to me. </p></p>

<p><p>I am sure if I were to meet up with a few on here in person we would get on like a house on fire!!! Make sure to drop by if you come by Sydney, who knows, if we can afford it we may even make our way to Adelaide at some point, so put the kettle on xx p.s I'll bring Jaffas</p></p>

<p><p>Yes, I have done the whole look at retraining route, but it was too damn expensive so abandoned all thought. My OH is an ops manager, he works in metal perforation, they headhunted him to set up a new facility here in Sydney, which he has. Company invested a lot in new machinery plus our costs so I suppose they will want to keep him.... the feeling of being so precarious does my nut in.</p></p>

<p><p>Certificate to be barsita! See what I mean?!!! FFS!!!! I did voluntary for the RSPCA and that was a bit of a piss take... so now I am helping a friend fund raise for her kid who needs an operation to walk again. At least I am doing "something". It can't go on forever though, a solution will have to be found at some point.</p></p>

<p><p>If you ever come to Sydney for a weekend/holiday be sure to look us up!!!! I have a couple of scouser friends too, and a lot of Irish, we all enjoy a good drink and a party! My motto is that I WILL WIN in the end..... don't be beaten either. France........mmmmm (do they sell Jaffas?)</p></p>

<p><p>I am ok, been meeting with recruiters (God love em) maybe one of them will one day find me a job lol! Seems I am just a weird person with weird work background and the poor Ozzies can't work me out.</p></p>

<p><p>Planning surprise party for my OHs 50th at the weekend. It is a combined birthday + Paddy's day, we have a lot of Irish friends so I am sure it will be good fun.</p></p>

<p><p>Feeling very autumny here right now, summer def over. The thought of 6 months with no Christmas to break it up feels daunting!!! Another reason to head back to the Northern Hemisphere....</p></p>

<p><p>Hi Steve!! thanks for liking my pics. One of my fav subjects is the ocean, underwater etc. We are both divers which is where most of the pics come from. Have yet to come across a Jaffa Fish, bet there is one out there somewhere....</p></p>
