  1. Hi We never managed to get enough players to put a team in the league, however we do have lots of people who want to play once a month. We have an over35s match on the last Sunday of each month. Next game Sunday 25th 5:30pm. It's just a load of lads turning up for a game with rolling subs followed by food and beer in the bar. Let us know if you're interested in playing this Sunday and I'll send you a private message with my details Paul
  2. [h=2]Over 35 Football (Soccer) Players needed in Berwick Area[/h] Berwick City Soccer Club require players who are over 35 for their Masters team. Training is on Wednesday evenings at 7pm on Fox Rd, Narre Warren North. Matches will start in mid April and will be Sundays in an Eastern suburbs league. I've only just started training with te club having been over here for 5 months. Good bunch of lads who don't take things too seriously. It's never too late to get back into it, after all I'm 41. If you're interested or want more details let me know, otherwise just turn up to the club next Wednesday at7pm. There's a bar at the club too as we all have a beer afterwards if that swings it. Cheers Paul
  3. The waiting is finally over. Great news to share with you all. Turn me purple. Yeeeeesssss. Got an email from CO at 3am with the good news. Am I the first July 175 applicant to get a grant? All those with a CO, you're time is only around the corner. We head off to Melbourne in 8 weeks on our reckie trip. It was a close call but now we can go knowing our visa can be stamped.
  4.:biggrin: On this day of CO allocations, I have some good news. I am July 1st applicant and sent an email to DIAC on Friday. They replied today saying that my application had been allocated to a case officer in team 2 and they would get in touch with me if they needed any more information. No change yet to my onoline status no ABPF yet, but good news still. Can you update the spreadsheet please? PCC 22nd December 2011, Medicals Finalised 16th January 2011
  5. I did think the same as you at first, but then onshore applicants gave been getting COs and grants fir a while under the new points system. Would they have a different team of COs? Anyway I am a front loaded British July 1st applicant and I only have 10 weeks to go before my reckie trip. Come on DIAC I need that visa grant soon
  6. I understand what you mean, but I think I'll wait another month before I apply fir an ETA. I hoping the 175 will come through in February
  7. Hi I am a July 1st applicant and we did our meds on Jan 3rd and they were finalised on Jan 16th. Just waiting and hoping now. Reckie trip to Melbourne booked for May 21st so starting to sweat now that we'll get it granted in time. PCC also done December 21st. COs were moving fast back then
  8. I'm getting depressed with the lack of CO allocations and watching the exchange rate go down and down. Update to our application: PCC uploaded 4/1/12 Medicals 11/1/12. Kids medicals are now finalised, my wife and mine are being referred. The waiting continues
  9. Hi I have been a type 1 diabetic for 25 years. I got granted a 457 visa 4 years ago and had no problem with the medical. I have now applied for a 175 visa and had my medicals on 3rd Jan this year. I suggest you ask your doctor for your latest blood test results (Hb1AC) and take them with you along with the results of your latest eye clinic appointment. If you are well controlled then there shouldn't be a problem. On my 457 visa I took as much insulin as possible as hand luggage and I wasn't sure how much it would cost me in Australia. I enrolled with a doctor and he wrote prescriptions for me. It ended up costing me about $40 dollars for about 6 weeks worth of insulin. So not as good as free in the UK but not too bad. I'm not sure if you still have to pay when a permanent resident or whether you get them for free?
  10. I am a July 1st applicant and have just received police checks back and want to front load them to my online application. Having logged in and even going on the document checklist page, I can't find anywhere that you can attach documents. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
