We both have come to a decision to move back. As we get older we have realised it’s time to go all our families live in uk we have no family here. Our only son was born in Australia and moved to uk 18 months ago and has no plans to return. Australia has been good to us and great place to live but as we all get older our priorities change. My question is we were both born in the uk and lived there for 24years before we emigrated to Australia we let our British passports run out can we fly into uk and apply for British passports later on?.

<p><p>Hi Amanda, just seen your message, see that you are from Banbridge and your hubby from Belfast. We are from Rostrevor, small world is'nt it??? lol We are living in Yaroomba, Coolum. Where are you staying? We are settling in nicely and soo are the girls 16 and 14, which is the main thing, just waiting for our container to arrive to make the house we are living in home.... Going through customs today, so fingers xxxd all goes ok and getting our things hopefully this week, which will be eight weeks more or less, so great timing!!! Maybe we could catch up sometime?? <p>Hi Amanda, are now messaging from south brisbane. Hope you have been well and have settled into your new house. We have rented in carina 15 mins south brisbane cbd. My hubbie marty is still job hunting so this keeps us close to a couple of big hospitals and the highways. He is applying for a job in nambour and we are going up to look at a lab in budrim but so far jobs are few which isn't so great. I'm sure you cannt wait to see your mum, not long now. Not having any home sickness but the job hunt is frustrating and having us all together 24/7 is hard work. Will let you know if we're heading your way. Take care Veronica.</p>
