Hi everyone, I've found if you book a flight from Kuala lumpar to uk and return to australia then seperate ONE WAY tickets to get you to Kuala lumpar they work out cheaper. You can even book a one or two night stop in KL and its still cheaper than the return from oz.

I got caught 2 months after getting here and when I told the Policeman who was writing the ticket he told me to give it a go to address on back of fine. I did and they cancelled it. What a wonderful country. I was only about 5 ks over limit. Best of luck Delboy

Yes I went to Aus House between 0900-1100 and will be doing the same on Monday to get visa put in passport......so see you there. I had everything loose and was worried but when I got there and spoke to them they said thank god someone has done it right as if you dont do that they have to sit there and unstaple/unpin or take out of files.

chin up....... Its amazing how you just suddenly hear from aus. house and its all done. The clouds just disappear. Hope yours comes through soon.

Here goes then with my news!!!!! Application (47SP) taken to Australia House 14/08/09 Payment same day C/O got in touch 17/08/09 requesting medical (Police check given with application confirmed medical received 28/08/09 VISA GRANTED 10/09/09!!!!!!!!!

<p>Hi all,</p>
<p>Well I am,at last, nearly ready to make my application for my visa. My partner and I are getting married on 11th july and then she will change her name in her passport and we will apply for a permanent resident visas for me.</p>
<p>My question is, the statutary declaration form 888, asking for people who know me, can this be Hazels children? or only friends and are photocopies of passports ok as long as they are signed by someone, likewise birth certificates.</p>
<p>I guess you can tell by the way it is all going through my mind that I am getting nervous now.</p>
<p>Any advise would be great</p>
