Anyone applied for skilled indpendant visa and on modl list April?

Have you had an acknowledgement yet. Or anything?

Like to hear from anyone in our boat. It would be nice to chat and compare......anyone?

Applied for 136 on MODL mid - end March. Am going through an Agent and not heard a thing yet. They told me to go for meds as soon as they submitted. Just getting that sorted.

 

I hear they are trying to process what they have to get to quota by June?

Let me get this right, so your agent said you should go for your med even though you haven't got an acknowlegement or reference nbr from a CO yet?

But when the doctors send it off, how will it be tied up with your application?

Our agent told us not to do it but to book our meds for 6 weeks time incase the results get lost when the doctors send it as they wont have anything to tie it up with.

Were you told any such thing?

I make an assumption that they account for the time taken to arrange everything and would keep them on file with themselves until requested. Or perhaps they would send as soon as reference number received.

 

Still trying to get the cash together so no rush at the mo anyway :cry:

Important to remember that your visa is granted from the date of medicals or police check (whichever was the earliest), so having them done too early will give you less time to validate your visa
