I have a Contributary Parent Visa ... last February I flew to Australia to validate my visa ... I had to fly back last March to sell my property ... I filled in a form at Perth airport and stated I would return in a year`s time ... due to circumstances beyond my control I will be unable to return until possibly next autumn/winter 2012 ... do I have to let the immigration / customs know ? if so , does anyone know an email / postal address ... thank you ... wellieboots Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 No I don't think this is an issue if all you have filled in is the green departure card that you hand to Customs - your visa is now validated and provided that it is multiple entry and it hasn't expired or anything like that, you can come and go as you please good luck!
