Guest Guest31881
I am sorry you did not receive a reply, when there are hundreds of posting being made a day then sometimes some get missed, Did you try re-posting, or doing a search using the facility built in, we have a long standing thread for electricians and I am sure someone on there could have answered your question. I hope you do well with your exam and i am sorry no one saw your post who could help

dublinsparky
yeah mate, was honestly the easiest electrical exam ive ever sat and the whole class felt the same, its a complete money scam. (not that im complaining as i would have failed if it was anything near the standard of back home- ireland) the instructor was so keen to pass us we were givin the exact questions of anythin tough prior to the exam and sure i had the pre worked out ansers on me desk as i sat the exam, lads that got wrong ansers were given a tipex pen, the correct solution and told to change their ansers, so rest assured as long as you get that artc cert processed you will get your aussie license. the day of the final exam i went to the licensing office in the city produced me artc and wiring cert paid the 388 bucks and should be expecting my S.A. license in the post within four weeks which i will be converting over to a qld license straight away i think that will cost 85 dollars. Hi there, It will be interesting to hear how you get on with obtaining a Qld licence with your SA licence as a number of people have been refused a QLD licence after attending PEER. Under the terms of mutual recognition you should be entitled to one but it appears the QLD licencing board are a law unto themselves. Again, let us know how you get on as I'm considering going the PEER route in order to ultimately, gain a QLD licence. Regards Derren
Guest Cove
Under mutual recognition Qld have to give you a licence if you have a clean record and a licence from another state , mutual recognition is legislation and legislation is written in stone whether they like it or not . Walk into the office in Brisbane present all the documentation they want and pay the money . If they refuse post another message here ASAP as this Qld make up your own laws is bullshit we will take it legal straight away maybe they are racist because it's only foreigners with Sa licences they refuse .
