angphil Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 We are in the same situation, my OH sent his stuff off to TRA and we didn't hear anything. If you go on the site https://extranet.deewr.gov.au/trades/Interface/Pages/Security/Logon.aspx?r=http://trades.hhw.prod.idc/Default.aspx and register and you can see where your application is. My OH's says awaiting assessment and it was received on 8/9/11 (we sent it on 22nd August by recorded delivery). It says they try to do them in 30 working days (so that's 6 weeks). Hope that helps. Chardy Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 I'm afraid you just have to wait. The online check will show nothing until 24 hours before you receive the result, not very helpful !
