Guest Pixie10
Booked flights- woooo!! Going from Manchester to Munich then on to Singapore then Adelaide!! Just wondered do we stay on plane when at Munich? Only there for 1 hour 10 and its same plane/flight number so not sure if we will need to get off or not? Thanks
ChrisH1979
Yes you need to get off and take all your hand luggage with you. It's a frustrating hour layover that's for sure! I'll be on my one way to Melbourne on 19th October on that route!
Guest TCASAlert
You don't need to get off. We did the same last time via ZRH (and OH did the same via FRA a few years prior to this), you have to stay on the aircraft while they take on new pax for the MUC-SIN sector. Some people got off despite the crew specifically advising pax to stay on, which delayed our departure as they had to load on more pax. We're going from LHR for exactly this reason, plus we get the A380

Its all a question of preference but I now know which way I would rather go! Happy travels! Val
ChrisH1979
I get on the flight again in under 3 weeks so will confirm. As I say, this time last year we had to get off plane and wait in the terminal
robeaves
My parents have flown that route for the last two years and had to get off the plane. I will be doing the same route in December They used to fly the Zurich route and didnt have to get off so why you have to in Munich i have no idea. mcmillsa
We had to get off earlier this year. Glad I did though bumped into a friend who was on the same flight as me who I hadn't seen for ten years!!
vava
You get off.....I just did! On my way to Melbourne as we speak....scary stuff !!!!! Hey Chris, thanks for letting me know - hope the rest of your journey goes without any problems. 7 more weeks for us till we get some sunshine. Still glad we chose that route rather than Heathrow even if we do have to get off. regards Val
