  1. Hi, Posting on behalf of my brother who is currently in the process of completing his Masters in Education at Vic Uni. We want to get the PR process started asap and want to engage an agent to help us on this rather than go it alone. Any advice? Cheers Chris
  2. Hi all, Well that year has gone quick! A year of PR as of yesterday and today I have been able to start my citizenship application (the app blocked me from proceeding prior to this). Anyway started to fill this in and theres a few things I was hoping you guys could clarify or me (I've looked for existing threads but can't see any): 1. It asks about "Other citizenships" for both the application and the applicants parents - I'm assuming here that they are looking for other duals and not my british citizenship considering I provided passport details which proves this? 2. This is the key one....There is a section that states: "Since the age of 18, has the applicant lived or travelled outside of Australia? Give details of all countries that the applicant has lived in or travelled to since turning the age of 18, include: Work or study outside of Australia [*]Holiday or leisure, including visits to the applicants country of origin [*]Business [*]Military deployment" So seriously now I have to list ALL my holidays overseas from the age of 18 and up? With specific dates? I've been to nearly 20 countries and don't have a full audit trail of dates so have other people come across this and what did you do? Many thanks in advance for all the help Chris
  3. Also with you are 26/4 for your visa application it should be getting processed very soon :-)
  4. Hi Collie. We have a thread here dedicated to this: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/158703-skillselect-ens-186-timeline.html Suggest you add your timeline to your signature so people can see easily. Do this by going to "Settings" at the top right and Edit Signature. Cheers Chris
  5. I just want to thank everyone on here for all the supportive comments over the last few months. Those who are close - I wish you all the best and hope you get approved very soon! Those who have just applied - hang in there and stay patient, your time will definitely come!
  6. I've travelled overseas twice since lodging my application and no issues. The bridging visa B is only needed if you are re-entering Australia once your 457 has expired as the Bridging visa A you get by default would not allow you to re-enter the country.
  7. They could be doing some now but suspect they will be doing them in earnest in a couple of weeks time.
  8. A colleague of mine who is not on this forum had his visa approved on Friday evening just gone. His nomination and visa were applied 1 week (approx) apart from each other in the last last week of March/first week of April. Occupation : IT
