fleabo Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 Yes - bring a copy of your evidence of NCD with you in case your new insurer asks for it. I was told you have 12 months to use it - that is, you need to take out comprehensive insurance on a car within 12 months of your last insurance otherwise your rating drops. They did ask about points on my licence and if I'd been the cause of any accidents in the past 3 or 5 years. I'd bring the paperwork anyway just in case. Guest JessandMatt Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Just to be the odd one out, nope it doesnt count I used iSelect (Like gocompare) they search providers for you and they told me they are not taken into account, however, they do take how long you have had your license into account so I had a 60% Discount for having a license for 10 Years.
