i'm a bit confused about what they mean by," prepare,mark and cut raking brickwork".can anyone help me out please? Lewis

 

 

They must mean when you've got no fascia,IE "cut up a pike" i'd say,"you" might call it an apex/whatever,they just mean a cut and rake,thats all,you'l be sound

What youve gotta do is build a corner so what they mean is "prepare" -put your line from your top course to bottom course diagonally across your corner, "mark" mark your brick with a pencil and then "cut" get your hammer and bolster out....your only using commons with a frog in so its a piece of p**s !!!!!! As Pablo says its just like doing a cut-up on a pike.
