Byford booking????????????

Hi guys looking to ship my dog next April 1-2 months after we're there! How much notice do you need to give Byford to book quarentine? Do I book the flight first or does the pet carrier arrange everything to tie in??

Hi there we never booked ours the shippers did .. not sure who your useing ? we used Golden arrow they did the lot, bar we used our own vets to do all the bloods etc prior to flights .. you could always email Byford themselves if your booking it yourselves or phone them .. they were very helpfull with us .. all the best http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/cat-dogs/accom/byford

We used pets on the move for our cat who organised everything, however when we first enquired there was a 4 month wait (which fitted in for us), so it may be worth you making the initial enquiry.

Hi you tentatively book quarantine once you receive the import permit. The permit is valid for 6 months so make sure you don't apply too early. You can email and ask if they think they'll have availability when are you planning on going. I think you get the waybill number 10 days or so before they fly and then you finalise quarantine.
