clusterofgeals
can anyone tell me what happens when you arrive at the airport in australia, do you have to tell anyone you are here to validate or do you just go through passport control as normal ? bennyboy
Hi there, My o/h has just got his Partner Visa and it is electronically tagged to your passport, so when you arrive to validate, they will know . Hope this helps.
ali
It's a bit disappointing 'cos you just line up with everyone else and go through passport control lol. We did get a really nice passport control man though who pronounced looking at my son that we'd be "stayers" and told him not to support the Dockers .... seems he was right, we're still here and my son supports St. Kilda (even though we're in Perth) lol. Guest Guest31881
Its a bit of an anticlimax, you line up and hand over your passport, it is scanned and given back to you. That's it, Even the brass band was on a day off when I arrived.
