Hi sneeze Who sent you the e-mail? Your Case Officer? The meds are dealt with by the Health Operations Centre in Sydney. Who were slated for their inefficiency and mismanagement by the Australian National Audit Office in 2007 and by the Joint Standing Committee on Migration in 2010. I've come across numerous cases in which the meds haven't been finalised simply because the HOC have mislaid the meds file. They have claimed that they "never received it." Insisting that they did receive it so what have they done with it? has led the HOC to "discover" on more than one occasion that some loon working for them has sent the meds file to storage by mistake/has put the meds papers for Bloggs into the meds file for Smith and so forth. Their e-mail address is health.operations.centre@immi.gov.au Their phone number is (08) 666 5777. From the UK, the number is 0061 8666 5777. You have to give them chapter and verse about the file which is missing. They need full details of the visa application, the reference number for that, the main applicant's full name and date of birth etc. You also have to find out from the Panel Doctor when s/her sent the meds to Sydney and how were they sent? If the doctor used a courier then the courier can state the date of delivery to the HOC. If the doctor sent the meds by Royal Mail International Signed For, Auspost use the same tracking number as Int Signed For in order to confirm the date on which they delivered the meds to the HOC. The HOC will wriggle if they get half a chance, so you need to get all of your end of the information together and then contact them, blocking any attempts by them to wriggle. Please let me know how you get on? Cheers Gill

helenandstuwilk
Hi. How did you get on with yr medicals? Have you heard anything back? We're considering a move but hubby concerned I may not pass my medical. Have degenerative disc disease in my back and he thinks this will cause a problem when medical checks are done. Anyone know anybody with same condition that has passed medical or failed for that matter!

But if you said no, or a mistake was made and the form said no, that your wife did not have any surgical procedures. How did the Australian medical staff discover that she had, in fact had some sort of medical procedure done? Hope my questions can be understood
