CharmedP3
Weekly update... Let's hope we see some more PINKS and PURPLES this week.... judging by the turnaround of Balackberrys visa grant (from CO to grant) they are moving fairly quickly..... more of this DIAC please!!! By my reckoning, they have got through Feb, Mar, April and are into May in the space of August alone. If they continue at this rate, we might just see the following CO allocations occurring: SEPT 10: Jun 08, Jul 08, Aug 08, Sep 08 OCT 10: Oct 08, Nov 08, Dec 08, Jan 09 NOV 10: Feb 09, Mar 09, Apr 09, May 09 DEC 10: Jun 09, Jul 09, Aug 09, Sep 09 JAN 11: Oct 09, Nov 09, Dec 09, Jan 10 FEB 11: Feb 10, Mar 10, Apr 10, May 10 MAR 11: Jun 10, Jul 10, Aug 10, Sep 10 Of course, that is all guess work.... but you never know!! And we still have the issue of the SMPs which will change everything anyway when/if they come into force. ilovemilkymoos
Hi Folks, I've not been on here in a long time due to the fact that everything had ground to a nausiating stop for our application over the past 18 months or so. Reading posts back in the summer of last year when our application was stuck somewhere between nowhere and desperation, made everything in life such a uphill grind! I stopped checking the site and the application status as it made me feel ill.... the thought that our lives could be put on hold while the Oz government changed their mind on who does get a visa and who doesn't !! Its absolutly great to see all the applications of people in the same boat as ourselves (CAT 3) starting to move again! This has given myself and OH a huge uplift in moral and at last have something to look forward to!!! Maybe we wont be granted before xmas, maybe we will, but at least something is moving and that is more than i could have expected 12 months ago!!!!! Well done to all who have recieved CO's and those lucky enough to have been granted and i wish all the rest of you the best of luck..... roll on Oz!!! Johnny. Guest bluehat
Thanks everybody so much . Hope each of us would have visa soon . Did you have DRC submitted? Hi noskich, I did not use DRC because I lodged my application by myself through papers although I was onshore applicant. Therefore, I was not eligible for DRC. After 18 months, I finally got my visa . I think CAT 3 is moving very quick now both offshore and onshore.
Guest JK2510
Congrats bluehat!! Happy packing!! Does everyone else think the cat 3 processing is moving quickly?! I not sure but with all the delays With the SMPs and uncertainty with oz elections it's looking good for us!
rgrangana
Hmmmm Too much worried. things look like very slow in cat 3. We saw only one applicant being allocated to CO this week. Wonder whats happening ? Is this because we have only few April, May, June 08 Cat 3 Applicants in this thread ? Cheers BY THE WAY THIS IS 500th Post in this thread
Guest JK2510
I know that week by week things do look slow but when you look at one of the earlier posts on here that charmed3 very nicely put together! In one month they have sifted through feb-may applicants!

In one month they have sifted through feb-may applicants! Thanks Jodie - nice to see some optimistic encouragement! I think you're right, considering what things have been like since May (no movement whatsoever!!) we are perfectly right to be allowed a little hope! I know it could be SOOO much better but at least we are seeing CO's and visa grants to people who have been waiting for so very long. Lets keep the hope going and the visas coming I say and hopefully we'll all be getting the best xmas present we could wish for. xxxxxxx :wubclub: Rose.
