Hi all,

 

Got an email from my agent this morning saying that I have been assigned a CO.

She sent me on the email that came from DIAC which was the same one that soshiansz got.

I checked my online application status but no information has been updated yet.

Is this normal.

Anyway, I'm April 2008 applicant so looks like my application is on the move.

Great news for June 08 applicants! Congrats! How did you enquire to DIAC about your visa application progress?

Can you enquire directly or do you have to get your agent to do it?

hi johnny,i also got an agent and as i know,it would be not convenient to enquire directly to DIAC for applicants like us.

 

BTW,a piece of good news is that some JULY or even AUG,2008 applicants have been emerged to be assigned COs according to related information from some other migration forums like freeoz.org(in Chinese). And as an insider said, most of the Pre-July,2010 Cat.3rd applications would probably be dealt with before the end of this year. If so, that must be definitely a God gift for many of us.

I don't know what will happen to the cat3s that don't make it into the cat2s if and when the smps get released. I hope they deal but ASPC can barely manage 1 catergory let alone 2 catergories! Time will tell. I hear tomorrow the independants will announce who they are siding with Abbott or gillard.

Jodie - too right, I think only one Catergory at a time is feesible for DIAC!!!! I know this may sound odd,and I don't want to upset anyone, but I kinda feel happier with how things are moving at the mo cos it at least gives me hope!!!! Worried the SMP's may see Cat 3 slide into oblivion otherwise!!

With all the changes that the DIAC have made in the last couple of years - I'm still a bit uneasy until I get the visa ....

Keep your eyes on the news tomorrow morning... there could be news on (finally) on the election outcome. It's looking like Gillard might retain the power she stole from Rudd... wonder what this will mean for immigration?

By my reckoning, they have got through Feb, Mar, April and May in the space of August alone. And the good start to the week and September, is seeing a Jun 08 applicant turn pink and be assigned a CO.... COME ON DIAC... you can do it... If they continue at this rate, we might just see the following CO allocations occurring:

 

SEPT 10: Jun 08, Jul 08, Aug 08, Sep 08 (already seen a Jun 08 CO woohoo )

OCT 10: Oct 08, Nov 08, Dec 08, Jan 09

NOV 10: Feb 09, Mar 09, Apr 09, May 09

DEC 10: Jun 09, Jul 09, Aug 09, Sep 09

Actually i gotta say so on SMP,but who knows if or when it emerges,coz there was some information said SMP could not be born in the end. Any way,let it go as it will, we ain't the Almighty...:wacko:

Hi Claire,yup it's not that easy to make such an insider quote on the forum~.The fact's that a Chinese Australian migration lawyer enquired from the insider(usually he did so) who insisted her name undisclosed and were told so,it seems DIAC has sped to deal with cases under a great of pressure and they would not like to keep on burdening this many complaints from outside any longer.In my view,they are apt to solve the old cases fairly efficiently no matter what Party would step on.So, for me,i would rather belive it's probable while i'll just keep on calm as usual till i've got a visa in hand.

1- send the results to DIAC by himself (am I right?!!).

2- or gives the reslut in a sealed envelope which we are supposed to send it, untouched, to DIAC.

 

Then, how come some people have uploaded their meds by themselves?!!

As far as know your are NOT ALLOWED to post the medicals yourself!!!

It must be sent by the doctor!

Can you please confirm the date of CO allocated. this is the 1st time I saw 175 Sept 08 Applicant being allocated a CO after new Rule, may be just after rule was changed.
