sami
Does anyone know how to find out if a company is entitled to sponsor on a 457 visa? Would DIAC give us that information?

Only the company itself can give you this information. The Immigration Department would not be allowed to disclose any such information about a company to a non authorized party. northernbird
Does anyone know how to find out if a company is entitled to sponsor on a 457 visa?Would DIAC give us that information? I believe that any company can apply to be a sponsor if they can prove they can't hire a local person to do that job. It is finding an employer that doesn't mind going through the process which can often prove difficult, particularly if you are in a hurry because you have perhaps lost your existing job. George Lombard
Best to get an experienced migration agent to interview the employer and confirm. No other way, unless they can show you existing sponsorship rights. Cheers, George Lombard
