Last I heard skilled migrants had to wait until 2012?

Hey All,

 

It's been several months since i logged on,

I am a men's hairdresser and was looking at going down the road of hairdressing with some training etc.

In september when i last looked we had to wait until 2012 for processing and a further 6-12 months until being approved.

 

Has anything changed since then? Are people being processed now?

Hi

Things are no different but there are some new changes coming in on Monday (Australian time) so this may change things but no one knows if it will be for worse or better. I would make sure that you log in to pomsinoz then to find out what the news is.

No there is no official update of the timeframes you mention. The only thing that seems to be happening is that some non-CSL state sponsored visas are being looked at now, but it is hard to tell if it is only the ones that had a CO previously.
