Guest shirlw Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Also just got back from 3 weeks hols in Scotland,bloody froze my butt off and glad to get back to 40 degrees for a thaw out! Good news this side too with request for meds and PCC's on 16th December with 28 days to submit.Luckily I had the foresight to do meds before we left on the 4th dec,just waiting for PCC which is a very slow process in S.Africa then we'll be good to go! Visa Granted:........ Additional Info: Skills assessment passed on 23rd December 2009. Very long process involving IELTS and a 3 hour exam in London in early December. Im back, after a very relaxing 3 weeks on holiday with my Family.:cool: I have ALOT to catch up on & will update the front page just as soon as I can.....:yes: Hi catrer, I am new here but reading threads since week. am planing to lodge my file may be next month i need help from all of you guys. like where to start and what step i have to take first can say from scratch level. As i am an IT professional and got 1 year experience closely related to nominated occupation which is in CSL and 3+ years part time exp from MODL in same field. I will opt for skilled sponsored migrant subclass 176 visa as i can also choose 175. so suggest me what to do wether i have to apply on 176 or 175? secondly if i go for 176 then what will be my priority cat is that 2 or 3? as my profession lies in both CSL & MODL? and there is some confusion about areas like m gonna go for NSW (sydney)m i illigible or not?? what specific/additional documents i have to gather before applying to ACS? and do i need to take ielts test before submiting to ACS??? how long this process will take time? We have found out today 19//01/10 that we have a case officer and now have 28 days to sort out medicals and police checks. The medicals are booked for 2nd Feb and we are sending off the police check forms tomorrow. Can't believe this is really now happening!!! Wasn't expecting it for another month at least.
