Help!! Utilities,gas,electric & water

Hi All

Think i read somewhere that water rates are included when you rent a property in South Australia. Is this correct as we are just putting together our research for the SA Govt?

Also have seen some great threads on suppliers for gas & electric but no approx monthly costs. Can anyone help with some rough monthly prices for say a 3 bedroomed house in adelaide suburbs?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Only furnished property's have the ammenities included normally, if you rent an un-furnished house you are responsible for connecting and paying the electric and sometimes any 'over use' of water is charged too.

Also dont forget in un-furnished you need to sort your own contents insurance out (the landlord should pay rates and buildings insurance)

Hope this helps a bit

As Cal states water is included with the rental but you will pay for over usage, but it really is not that much, our last electricity bill for 3 months was $114.00 this was for Queensland we do not have gas in Queensland, and it depends on what utility provider you use for your supplies too...
