Quickly phoned my agent and she confirmed it, then it was a call to my girlfriend to give her the good news, she can't wait to show me around Melbourne ( she's an Aussie ). I only got my case officer last Monday, and I'm still in shock, a couple of stiff drinks tonight should sort me out. I couldn't sell my flat so I'm going to rent it out instead, just the car to sell now. We already have our flights booked to leave, the 22nd of April, and then we are going backpacking around Egypt, China, Japan, Malaysia and Western Australia, before finally getting to Melbourne on the 11th of August. We took a chance that I would get the visa before we left, we are just so happy that it has come through, and we are looking forward to our new life in Melbourne.
