Dominic Thompson
Hi there, As part of my job application I have been asked to do a pre-employment health assessment which I took to the GP. GP got half way through and said it's too involved have to use a specialist who can do all the things required on the form. Eye tests, hearing test, urine test / drugs screening, spirology (lung function) plus some very basic fitness and movement tests. I've tried about 7 places but to no avail they all come back and say they can't help with this. Please does anyone know a company preferably based in London that can do these sorts of things. Kind regards Dominic
FirstWorldProblems
Are you in the UK or Australia? I have an annual medical for work (in the UK) where they do all those things and more. If you haven't already, give Nuffield health a call and see if they can do it for you

rammygirl
This sounds like the medical you have to do for the visa, is it part of an employer sponsored visa application? If so you must have it done at a migration panel approved clinic.

Having said that, and of the doctors that do the visa medicals should be able to cope with this one

Dominic Thompson
Thanks for all the replies I think it's for an employer as part of their requirements rather than for the visa which I don't know if it's been applied for, maybe another medical lies ahead after this one but it's very detailed so might cover both Cheers
