What do you mean by "federal visa"?  Are you waiting for AAT review of the nomination?  You'll need to wait for the nomination to be granted before they move onto processing your visa application.

If they think your employer’s docs is strong enough, they will approve the nomination without hearing. Or they will sent you a invitation for hearing later( normally after 2-3 weeks after you submit the requested document)

They will ask for hearing if they need more evidences and need more explanation , they only make a decision without hearing only when they can approve your nomination straightaway

I've never heard of a "federal" visa so I'm afraid I can't answer your question.

I believe he refers to the Federal court, that's where you can take your case if you are not satisfied with the outcome AAT has provided you with.

I've heard the waiting times are shorter there.

The test results must be valid only at time of applying, not when the application is opened for processing. Your Agent should clarify to the CO that you were able to meet the English eligibility criteria at the time you applied for the visa.

Test validity: Test cannot have been undertaken more than 3 years before the date of application.

Not in all cases. Rules says that it should be valid at the time of application.

Just wandering that Perth file are taking longer than all other states. As there are less number members for hearing. Is this true? If anyone got hearing in Perth and after how much time.

Its not true that Perth's Files are taking long. too many files are open in WA as I heard.
