Kayleighjx Posted February 24, 2021 Share Posted February 24, 2021 Hi all just looking for some clarity. I got my medical for a student visa in July 2020 as I due to start my course in January 2021. I then had to defer the intake to July 2021 and was issued a new visa. If I have to defer again to January 2022 and apply for a new visa will this medical still be valid or will I need a new medical? Thanks in advance for any response Generally the medical lasts a year. Case officers have some discretion to extend this in some cases. DrDougster Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 I'd have thought if you're a healthy "typical student age" there may be some discretion if you're dealing with a case officer but it will be "computer says no" 9/10 times.
