JMcW89
Hi Does anyone know of there is a limit to how many RRV's someone can get. For example if a person got an RRV can they apply again in 5 years for another RRV or do they need to attain citenzenship? Thanks in advance
Amber Snowball
If you are living in Aus and meet the 2 years out of 5 residency you can just keep getting them. A friend of mine is Japanese and so would have to give up their Japanese citizenship to take Aus citizenship, which they don’t want to do, so have been getting RRVs for decades. I think the problem arises when people spend too long offshore and don’t meet the residency.

Ausvisitor
Unless the rules change a RRV is automatically granted (on application) so long as you are on shore at least 2 years out of the 5 years of your current RRV

You can keep on getting RRV's forever, if that's what you want to do, provided you meet the residency requirement every single time. If you don't meet the residency requirements, even getting your first RRV could be a challenge.
