Would like to know if a person is fit enough to live this period in Aus staying on private insurance then after this period once the visa would be granted would that person be eligible for medicare / pension/ aged carr benefits etc? In the situation they are not able to clear medical can they still keep on staying the same way in australia like on private insurance? or does this mean they would need to leave? Passing the medical is a condition of the visa. If they fail the medical, the visa will be refused and they will have to leave the country. Lastly, for PCC requirements my parents are residents of india but have spent about less that 2 years in UK as part of their muktiple short trips in last 10 years.
