You need a positive skills assessment for your qualification and experience: https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration/trade-occupations/am-i-eligible-to-apply This is the DIPB website where you can check your job eligibility, and calculate your points: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-independent-189/points-tested Minimum points required is currently 65, however, not many people with less than 80 are being invited.
