Varies. You'd need to approach them and ask them for a quote for whatever part of the application you want them to look at. If its the whole application its probably going to be a one time fee.

If you don't mind, can you give me an approximate range so I don't get ripped off by someone shady.

It really does depend on what type of visa and how complex the application will be. The MARA website shows rough spreads based on feedback from RMAs, although this data is now somewhat out of date it gives you a ballpark. As Nemesis says, you will need to explain your situation and get a quote tailored to your circumstances.  One size doesn’t fit all in this area.

For us it was a straight forward 189 case with a defacto partner added on. I believe we paid 3 instalments of £650 at different stages of the process. We were charged a small fee for the assessment at the beginning but this was taken off the final total

My experiences are too long ago and in a totally different visa field so would be of no relevance to you, sorry

Exactly. And Jupiter does seem to have a rather unusual situation, involving a ban

Not much use to Jupiter though, theirs is very unlikely to be a straightforward 189.  Paulhand and I did answer the question - he/she needs to contact some agents and outline their case to get a reliable personal quote.
