Currently they’re assessing applications made up to 5 May 2015. Do the maths! Having applied end of June 2015 I think I’ll be lucky to get my visa by the end of the year! Thanks ps do these dates also apply to the 864 visa as well? just looked it up no information available, reckon all applications are forgotten at the bottom of the pile. On the home affairs web site it quotes 49-55 months for processing the 143 CPV. I was asking if it’s now the same timescale for the 864 CPV, as I went on the home affairs web site to check and there is no time scale written due to low number of applicants. I then sent a bank email to parents@home affairs to see if there was any movement on processing the 864 CPV. There has only been 6 weeks movement since September 2016, it’s now 27th October 2016. I was sarcastically commenting on the words “we are assessing applications” as there has been no movement for nearly 2 years, so I think thats a lie. my extra post was supposed to be added on to my previous post, so might have been confusing.
