Hi guys,

I create a new topic for us chefs and cooks, so we can share easily our timeline and updates.

We applied on the 30 June 2017 as chef, nomination and Visa same day

186 TRT

low risk country

Till now NO news...

I hope something will happened very soon

??????

Bro one of my friend is from Pakistan, he has three years relevant work experience. He was thinking to apply through DE now, But his MA told him as per 18th March update you couldn't apply as a cook through DE, you can apply through TRT after completing your two years on 457.

Is there any chance to apply through DE as a cook now?

Can you please ask your MA the reason? My MA didn't say anything about it, he applied it.

yes, he said cook is not on the list, but. chef is. and the munimu score for chefs through eoi is70 so far. imagine, how many chefs would be able to apply through eoi if meet 60 points only.

Why I told this is most of the dodge bosses showing their business in loss to avoid the taxes , even though their are getting profits.

thats directly affect the visa applicant

i might be wrong ..but better to consulting MA would be the best option

agreed

Hi,

187DE visa N Nom 30 may 2017.

nothing yet..

anyone who applied for Chef onshore, does immi inspect on every work place or they just randomly pick and inspect?

What do they do when the inspect?

Ask straight away for the applicant or the owner?

Thanks.

Hi,

as you know the processing time for the 187 DE Visa is between 17 and 20 months,  so I'll say that it's normal if you still waiting, when you will have a few minutes just read some of the previous posts and you will understand why I'm saying that to you.

BTW the Immigration will not call and inspect all the workplaces , it will be almost impossible for them to do it...

Based on other People experiences, When the Case Officer call or inspect the workplaces will ask to your employer about:

your role, your salary, the number of staff  etc...

In my opinion, If you know that you and your employer, have done everything right, there is nothing to be worried...

I hope this will make sense for you.

Good luck ?
