Medical help

Hi

I was wondering what is involved in the medical assessment? I suffer with fibromyalgia, I don't have any prescribed medication nor do I have any specialist treatment. I manage this condition myself using over the counter pain relief.

Does anyone know if this would prevent me from passing the medical? I understand from research that it is a one fail all fail system.

Also, my partners daughter probably won't be coming with us but I read that she would still need to undergo a medical - is that correct?

Thanks for any advised

Helen

Hi , I've just had my medical - I have fibromyalgia aswell , am taking my two children ( both had medicals, height weight, urine test, touch your nose /toes my eldest 14yrs had X-ray very basic none invasive) I had bloods and eye test on top of all that aswell.

results were submitted a few days after, had an email 3 days after results submitted asking for more info on my fibromyalgia / report from my rheumatologist- I don't have one, I phoned the hospital who were very helpful gave me 3 options but said to start with a letter from my Gp as I've only ever had treatment from her to see if that would surfice - I'm a fair bit nervous about all this

im not saying this will be the case for you , just sharing what we are going through right now ? Xx
