Hi anyone please tell me how many days it will take to get police clearance from India?

Don't take risk. Consider 1-1.5 months

no mate maximum two weeks. Fill it online on VFS, print it and send it. don't worry, doesn't take 1 month, unless there is any trouble.

Hey everyone,

I am always confused about the steps of the visa. After the  IMMI Approval of Nomination, probably the next step is the visa granted. Correct?

Immi did not request any further document because we had everything uploaded since we did the RCB and state nomination (sorry if I am confusing the terms).

My question is: how long has been reported the time after IMMI approval of nomination until the visa granted? From what I had read in the thread, it looked like something short. But I've been reading some statements talking about almost a year wait.

Can somebody give thoughts and impressions about it?

Thank you.

Requested documents: Australian Federal Police (AFP) clearance National Police Check Evidence of registration/licensing(Working with children registration card) Evidence of Australian and Overseas work experience to demonstrate current nominated occupation.

I am just worried a bit about this work experience evidence, why are they asking for it if it is not required. I have experience in related roles like: childcare practitioner, room supervisor, Early Childhood Teacher and coordinatior, 4 and half years in total, I have references and contracts.

Was any of you asked for work experience evidence by CO? What did you submit?

My nomination has been been approved and waiting for visa file to open

when did your file  open after nomination approval

just want share my timeline...…

Rcb - applied - march 2017

          approved - april 2017

Visa and nomination applied - may 2017

Nomination approved -  8 October 2018

file open same day. Asking AFP clearance same day. submitted in one week.

after three weeks, same Co was asking further request for medical ( mine and my wife's). But at that time I added my son name in my file. So, I and my wife both done our medical check up first in two weeks ( around 24 th nov 2018). But we are waiting for my son's passport. After received passport. I added my son's name in my current file which was 457 visa. Than did his medical through GP. submitted his medical on 7 th January 2019.

But after nomination approved it's been more than 4 months, I haven't heard any things from them. Any one who has same kind of situation.

Cook, Perth WA.

You applied before March 2018?

The rule changed ages ago. Whoever applied after March 2018 needs 3 years experience

Yes brother I am still waiting.
Timeline. Nomination : apr 2017
Visa .. aug 2017
HR country.

Nominations not cleared yet.

Where as my papers are demanded. Like pcc and educational qualification.

I don't know what is this unique way, as before nomination applicants papers are demanded.

My case appears to be similar to you. CO requested for documents for both nomination and visa but nothing have happened since then, close to 2 months now.
