Rajat Babbar
There should be simple 2 waysEither pay same immi amount and get result in 8-9 months fast track Or half fees for 22 months slow track. Everyone will choose their priority. Just a thought 1

VJ_1
Hi Guys, I am moving to regional QLD and will be working as a specialist doctor. The public hospital is willing to sponsor me for the RSMS 187 visa. I was checking the home affairs website and the avg processing time for the Direct Entry Scheme appears to be over 20 months. In case anyone has any information specifically for the case of a specialist doctor, regarding the expected processing time if both visa nomination and application are filed at the same time. Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Rajat Babbar
Can you explain better. What I mean to say is that this is my suggestion. The department should cut their fees for visa as it not only cost chuncks of money but also 2 years approx. So I am suggesting if they charge this amount then reduce time frame or if same time frame then reduce money. Imagine ppl get a negative news that cost them soo much money and 2 years also. Just a thought for department

Just a thought for department so you are suggesting adding another level of red tape, sorting out for every visa type whether people want to pay for more priority processing That in itself will cost more money. Some people on Partner Visas get rejections after 4/5 years when there PR is processed. Some one Parent Visas get rejections after 10 years or more. If you don't want to pay the fee and wait as long as it takes then just don't apply. Making things more complex will just result in even higher rates in order to fund the staff to deal with the extra red tape.

Make sure any arrangement is properly documented just in case immigration checks. With all computerisation going on and interdepartment linkaging, it is so easy for immi to check if your are getting paid by your employer and paying taxes. If they notice you are not getting paid, they will ask your employer where you are. That said, this is just my opinion. Check with an immigration official if possible, or an immigration expert. I don’t think it’s that easy for immi department to check if your getting paid, otherwise they wouldn’t ask for payslips which in most cases they do.
