VERYSTORMY Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 The first thing is to check your occupation is on the current list on the border.gov.au web site Then, if it is, check who the assessing body is and research what are the requirements for passing the skills assessment. Then, if you are happy you meet them, calculate your points - you need at least 60. Then check the other criteria such as age, charcter and medical. Once you are happy you meet them all, you apply for a skills assessment. Many people also find they need extra points by completing an English exam, though depending on your nationality you may need an English exam regardless such as ILETS Once you have everything, you can lodge an expression of interest.
