hi friends, anyone got golden email today? i have applied in august 29 both visa and nomination and i have submitted medical and police reports and waiting for golden email.is there anyone waiting from august or before that?

Hi, I am waiting from 21st August too, all docs submitted, but still nothing. Status received.

I applied on 16 August (186 TRT) and still nothing, not  opened yet

Nice that would be actually good... but bad at the same time because getting any documets around christmas might be difficult

186 visa application submitted: 4/11/19

CO requested for documents: 11/11/19

Submitted requested documents: 20/11/19

Visa grant: 11/12/19

I finally got the golden email, below is my timeline:

Occupation: Software Engineer
State: NSW
Stream: 186 Direct Entry
Country: HR
Number of applicants: 1

Nomination Applied: 6 Aug 2019
Nomination Approved: 20 Nov 2019

Visa Applied: 9 Dec 2019
Medical Check: 9 Dec 2019
Medical Check Cleared: 11 Dec 2019
Visa Grant: 12 Dec 2019
IMMI Status: Finalised

In my opinion, I think the longest part was the nomination step. If the nomination step got approved, the visa application date itself doesn't matter as long as your application has everything.

What I did was preparing all documents ready and submitted all required documents altogether for the visa application. If you know that your country police clearance takes time, contact the immigration to request a letter for a penal check letter beforehand while waiting for nomination results.
